The finest quality steelhead salmon are carefully selected, expertly hand filleted and trimmed, and enhanced with simple brine. The fillets are then flavoured with a natural hardwood cold smoking process. No artificial colourings, additives or preservatives are used. Keep frozen prior to use. Open bag before thawing in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours. Thaw more quickly in cold water (in sealed bag) for 20 minutes. Open bag before placing in refrigerator. Do not thaw in microwave, in hot water, or at room temperature. Do not refreeze thawed product. Refrigerate after opening .Use within 3 days after thawing.
Nanuk salmon slices can be enjoyed in a wide variety of ways including on crackers, thin breads, french bread and bagels, in salads and is complemented with any of the following garnishes: cream cheese, mayonnaise, capers, thin sliced onion, lemon and fresh dill.
